Objective: Through 3D digital measurement of mixed dentition stage IIIA individual normal mandibular dental arch and basal bone shape measurement, analysis of mixed dentition stage IIIA individual normal combined mandibular dental arch and basal bone arch length, width and shape correlation for the normal range measurement indicators, and complement the domestic dental arch and basal bone bow three-dimensional digital measurement data,in order to provide theoretical basis and reference for the clinical and research work. Methods: Selected in department of pediatrics and dentistry, the first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university children's dental meets the requirements of 92 children(44 men, female 48),after the signing of the informed consent for making plaster models,three-dimensional digital scanning, gypsum model is converted into digital data, using MAYA(2011 edition)software to measure:(1)obtain mandible model FA points and WALA point projection FA 'the distance between the point and WALA'point, different tooth distance, the age difference, and the linear distance FA and WALA points.(2)obtain the normal value range of length and width of mandibular dental arch and basal bone arch, and conduct two independent sample t tests for different genders.(3)correlation analysis was carried out on the morphological parameters of mandibular dental arch and basal bone arch, and curve fitting was carried out on the coordinates of the projection points of FA 'and WALA' points of FA 'and WALA' points,so as to obtain the fitting curves of normal mandibular dental arch and basal bone arch in this age group.Results:(1)the distance difference between FA 'point and WALA' point did not change much in the anterior segment of the mandibular arch, and the value gradually increased from the area of the molar to the area of the molar. The linear distance between FA point and WALA point of each tooth position is relatively stable, showing a trend of gradual decrease from the central incisor of the lower jaw to the first permanent molar of the lower jaw. There was no significant difference in the linear distance of the corresponding tooth position between male and female(P> 0.05).(2)the measured values of length and width of mandibular dental arch and basal bone arch were greater in females than males except that the length of anterior dental arch was greater in males than females.(3)the length and width of the anterior, middle and posterior segments of the mandibular dental arch and the basal bone arch were significantly correlated(P<0.01).The correlation between the width and height of the mandibular dental arch, the middle and posterior segment of the basal bone arch(r=0.842,r=0.882),and the other measurement indexes were all moderately correlated. The scattered points of mandibular arch, basal bone arch and fitting curve were obtained by curve fitting. Conclusion: In the mixed dentition IIIA stage, the shapes of normal mandibular arch and basal bone arch were closely related.
