ObjectiveThe study sought to discuss the clinical features, assess the psychological impact and quality of life in patients with vitiligo to provide evidence for psychological treatment.MethodCollection of adult patients with vitiligo patient as the main object of study, the design of a unified questionnaire survey of patients. And collected as normal controls, in the form of a questionnaire to understand the risk factors of vitiligo to understand the psychological status of patients with normal people and quality of life differences. Use Epidata3.1 databases, SPSS1.5 data analysis.Adult patients attending department of dermatology were enrolled in this study using a questionnaire to detect the risk factors of vitiligo and classify the psychological status between patients and healthy people.ResultsA total of 827 patients with vitiligo, including men,377 cases,450 cases of women, a ratio of 1:1.19, with an average age of 30.6 years. Duration 2-653 months, average 74.9 months. Control group,59 cases of male and female 71 cases, the ratio of 1:1.20 average age was 31.3 years. We found taking vitamin C drugs (at least six months),time of exposure to the sun,the partial eclipse,family history was significant in statistics (P<0.05).1. psychological level of SCL-90 questionnaire of patients aged≤35 interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, paranoia, psychosis scores above the age> 35 years old patients (P<0.05). Patients with low education level (high school and below) in interpersonal sensitivity, somatization, phobia, psychosis scores than patients with high educational level (college and above) (P<0.05). Progress of patients in the interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, depression, hostility scores than patients with stable (P<0.05). 2. WHOQOL-BREF were found in patients with high education level (college and above) in the psychological domain scores than patients with low educational level (high school and below) (P<0.05). The remaining gender, age, income level, disease duration, disease type, stage and so there was no significant difference.ConclusionsLower than normal in patients with vitiligo population psychological level, exposure group than in the non-exposed group had more psychological damage psychological. Quality of life was significantly lower than the normal population control group. In addition to the future treatment of vitiligo with topical and oral light therapy should be targeted with psychological therapy to improve efficacy and improve the level of patients with psychological stress.
