Objective:To study the Functional indigestion (Functional Dyspepsia, FD) with Helicobacter Pylori(HP) infection relationship and evaluation 14 carbon urea Test (14C Breath Test,14C-UBT), histopathological and Rapid Urease Test (RUT) will be diagnosed Helicobacter Pylori infection value. Methods:after gastroscope inspection with functional dyspepsia symptoms 107 patients prospectiely. Functional indigestion patients was individed into the upper abdominal pain syndrome group and postprandial discomfort, gastroscope biopsy specimens syndrome group for histologic and RUT. Gastroscope inspection after oral luCi 14C-UBT urea capsule after 14C-UBT Compare the pathological and histological method, RUT and 14C-UBT sensitivity, specificity, the positie and negative predictive value. Results:(1) EPS group and PDS patients (54.9±15.5, 54.5±13.3), respectively, plus principle difference was statistically significant (t= 0.154, P= 0.87);(2) HP infection rate increased with age,the difference of different age groups was not statistically significant (X2=0.531, P= 0.357), but with 51-60 years old group;(3)gender differences between significantly statistical significance (X2=4.631, P =0.032); (4)Between different nationalities without significantly statistical significance (X2= 0.666, P=0.293) (5)On EPS group 57 patients, HP 49 cases, accounting for both positive and PDS group of 50 cases, HP positive 32 cases, accounting for 64.0%; The EPS group HP positie than PDS (x2=group 6.986 P=0.012). (6)Smoking group and not smoking group HP positie difference was statistically significant (x2=7.141, P=0.006);(7) Histologic diagnosis method of HP infection 74 cases, accounting for 69%, RUT diagnosis HP infection 64 cases, accounting for 59%, 14C-UBT 69 cases diagnosed HP infection, or 64 percent. Compared with the pathological and histological 14C-UBT sensitivity and specificity were 92%,97%, positie and negative predictive value were 99%,86%, compared with RUT the 14C-UBT sensitivity and specificity were 98%,86%, respectively, the positie and negative predictive value were 91%,97%. Kappa value (= 0.867), the accuracy was consistently. Conclusion:(1)FD with HP infection rate increased with age, with 51-60 years old group most affected; (2)FD with HP positive rate male more than female; (3)FD with HP positive smoking less than smoking group; (4)EPS with HP positive rate more than PDS group; (5)14C-UBT was a kind of high sensitivity and sensitivity of a non-invasive diagnosis of HP infection method; (6)14C-UBT operation was simple, safe, inexpensive and reliable results, worth popularizing.
