The Clinical Study On Efficiency Of Hemiplegia After Cerebral Infarction

Objection:to observe the effectiveness and safety of the left and right divided therapy by acupuncture for hemiplegia after cerebral infarctionMethod:66 cases that the patients who are complied with the diagnostic standard are collected from the acupuncture inpatient department of the subsidiary hospital of ChengDu university of TCM. These cases are divided into treatment group and control group according to random, single-blind and reference design, and each group is consisted by 33 cases. The left and right divided therapy by acupuncture to the acupuncture points in the hemiplegia side body are used in treatment group, and the traditional therapy are adopted by control group. Each course of the treatment is four weeks. FMA form and Barthel form will be used to assess the Curative effect before and after treatment.Result:64 cases have Finished the whole test process,2 cases are depigmentation cases. In treatment group, no case get recovery in clinical cure.7 cases have Significant effect(21.88%),18 cases are effective (56.24%), and 7 cases are invalid(21.88%), greater rate is 21.88 percent, effective ratio is 78.12 percent. In control group, no case get recovery in clinical cure.8 cases have Significant effect(25%),16cases are effective (50%), and 8 cases are invalid(25%), Greater rate is 25 percent, Effective ratio is 75 percent.Comparing the two groups, there are no significant differences between the markedly effective rate and the effective constitute(P>0.05). All the results have confirmed that the left and right divided therapy by acupuncture for hemiplegia after cerebral infarction and the traditional acupuncture therapy have same Curative effect.Conclusion:Adopting the left and right divided therapy by acupuncture to cure hemiplegia after cerebral infarction have obvious Curative effect, but the raditional acupuncture therapy have the same effect.
