The Role "Clan" Can Play In Liangshan Yi's AIDS Prevention And Control

Since 1985, the first HIV infections found in China, China's AIDS epidemic after already after the begin period, diffusion period into a rapid growth. In recent years, as China's government input more resource into AIDS prevention and control work, Chinese AIDS epidemic ease. But it is undeniable that in some areas in China, especially in the west remote minority areas, the traditional government-leading of prevention methods, the variety of conditions from the local restrictions, failed to exert obvious function, local AIDS epidemic is still severe. Therefore, searching out a western minority areas suitable for our new mode of prevention and treatment of AIDS is necessary.Based on AIDS Sichuan Liangshan Yi's AIDS prevention and control work, this paper analyzes the traditional government-led HIV/AIDS prevention and control mode, have various restrictions in ethnic minority areas. The paper take Yi's "Jiazhi" for example, the "clan" of ethnic minority can play an important role in prevention and treatment of AIDS work. This paper tries to explore in this basis, that gives a kind of new HIV/AIDS prevention and control of AIDS prevention and control model-a strong ties intervention mode. The traditional HIV/AIDS prevention and control mode is the government-led model, and strong relationship model is basis on this, and add new element, turn into "the government--clan-control object" ternary model. This model have many advantage that the traditional HIV/AIDS prevention and control mode can not do, the paper will analyzes these advantages later.The paper have five sections:the first chapter for introduction, mainly introduces writing background and study method; The second chapter, mainly introduces the basic situation of the study area, loudly for below research; Chapter 3, analyzes the reasons of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Yi, and the limitations of traditional AIDS means; The fourth chapter for research emphases, mainly introduces the origin of the "Jiazhi", function and the role "Jiazhi" can play in AIDS prevention work; The fifth chapter for summary, provide some suggestions for "Jiazhi" in AIDS'prevention work, and on this basis, summarizes a new mode of strong relationship-AIDS prevention intervention mode, which can play an important role in ethnic minority areas'AIDS prevention and control work.
