ObjectiveTo discuss and research the validity and feasibility of massage manipulation according to different syndrome on functional constipation (FC) infant. To work out a standardize and effective treatment method for the infant with functional constipation.MethodsMethods of literature and clinical research were used. Literature research included summarizing the understanding of TCM about etiology, pathogenesis and treatment method of constipation. This paper sums up the present research situation of modern medical science about the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment method of FC, which is the foundation of clinical research of this project. A total of 76 outpatients were included in the study.38 patients in the study group received massage according to different syndrome once a day for two weeks.38 patients in the control group received Pei Fei Kang capsule orally at a dose of 210mg bid for two weeks. All the cases were followed up for one month.ResultsThe effective rate of the study group reached 97.37%, which was significantly different from the control group (p<0.01). And there was significant difference in symptoms improvement between the study group and the control group.ConelusionsThe prognosis of constipation on infant treatment by massage manipulation according to syndrome differentiation scheme is satisfactory.
