BackgroundThere are various health regimen experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 2000 years accumulation and collection, but faded away along with those Chinese famous veteran doctors passed away. Protecting and inheriting the health regimen is an important method for affordable and continuable medical service, and also one of the effective and permanent solutions for the health care shortage pressure.ObjectivesThe expectation of this research project is to accumulate the effective regimen method which inherited for generations based on questionnaire survey and depth interview of contemporary famous veteran TCM doctors in Lingnan region, to collect and data dig their personal health experiences, finally to come into regimen guide for public health of South China according to the principle of Timing, Location and Personality.MethodsWe use open questionnaire to collect TCM famous veteran doctors'health regimen experience information. It includes theory origin of health cultivation, scope and content of health approach, different methods comparison, personal unique health experience, etc.ResultMost of the doctors considered that the constitution of the people in Lingnan region is different from those not in this region, but the regimen regulation still follows the same principle. They have special experience on emotion, diet, exercise, sexual activity and daily living. Conclusion The data digging research on TCM veteran doctors'experience of health cultivation in Chinese LingNan region collects and summarizes doctors' personal experience and clinical practice experience. It is valuable for public cultivation development.
