Objective:To evaluate the effects of different body position on the heart rate(HR),respiratory rate(RR),average arterial pressure (MAP),percutaneous blood oxygen saturation (SpO2),apnoea (AOP),total milk, gastric retention and sleep time in preterm infants. To provide a practical guide for nurses in neonate ward about preterm infants nursing.Methods:90 Preterm infants from Aug.2009 to Aug.2010 in our Neonate ward were randomly divided into 0°supine group,0°prone group,0°tilt group,30°supine group,30°prone group,30°tilt group. The HR,RR,MAP,SpO2,AOP,total milk and sleep time were recorded at 1h,2h,3h,4h,5h,6h, gastric retention were recorded at 3h and6h.To collect relevant data of patients in the study, established information database, applied descriptive analysis, variance analysis to analysis and distinguish their HR,RR,MAP,SpO2,AOP,total milk, gastric retention and sleep time etc. Results:1,In terms of HR, the HR in 0°supine group,0°tilt group were statistically not significant (P>0.05), the HR in 0°prone group was lower than that in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group, differences were statistically(P<0.05).2,In terms of HR,the HRin 30°supine group,30°prone group and 30°tilt group were statistically not significant (P>0.05)3,In terms of RR, the RRin 0°prone group was lower than that in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group, differences were statistically(P<0.05).0°supine group,0°tilt group were statistically not significant (P>0.05).4,In terms of RR, the RR in 30°supine group,30°prone group and 30°tilt group were statistically not significant (P>0.05).5,In terms of SpO2, the SpO2 in 0°prone group was higher than that in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group, differences were statistically(P<0.05).6,In terms of SpO2,the SpO2 in 30°prone group was higher than that in 30°supine groupand 30°tilt group, differences were statistically(P<0.05).7,In terms of total milk, the total milk in 0°supine group,0°tilt group,0°prone group,30°supine group,30°prone group and 30°tilt group were statistically not significant (P>0.05).8,In terms of MAP, the MAP in six groups was statistically not significant (P >0.05).9,In terms of total sleep time, the total sleep time in 0°prone group and 30°prone group were higher than those in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group,30°supine group and 30°tilt group, differences were statistically(P<0.05), the total sleep time among other groups were statistically not significant (P>0.05). 10,In terms of gastric retention, the gastric retention in 0°prone group,30°prone group,30°supine group,30°tilt group and 0°tilt group were lower than those in 0°supine group, differences were statistically(P<0.05),11,In terms of AOP, the AOP in 0°prone group,0°tilt group,30°prone group,30°supine group and 30°tilt group were lower than those in 0°supine group, but there were no statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusions:1,the HR,RR in 0°prone groups were lower than those in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group, but the SpO2in 0°prone group and 30°prone group were higher than those in other groups. It has physiological benefits for preterm infants, and is worthy of promotion.2,The gastric retention in 0°prone group,30°prone group,30°supine group and 30°tilt group were less than those in 0°supine group and 0°tilt group. It benefits gastric emptying, decreases AOP and is worth popularization.3,The sleep time in 0°prone group,30°prone group were longer than the remaining groups. It is helpful for preterm infants growth, It benefits the somatotropin excretion, the nervous system and the immune system of premature. It is worth providing.
