Study On The Integration Of Urban-rural Medical Security System In Jiangxi Province

As an important part of the social security system, medical security system is also the important system arrangement which is relation to the national health, social stability and development. The 16th national congress of CPC proposed that it was time to gradually change the urban-rural dual economic structure, narrow the development gap between urban and rural areas. At the same time, China's government set the basic goal for China medical insurance system which is to establish basic medical health system for urban and rural residents and everyone could be access to the basic health services. As a less developed region in central China, Jiangxi Province should establish the medical insurance system that is consistent to the level of economic development of the province and cover all the urban and rural inhabitants.This paper is on the basis of collecting a large number of related literatures, it first analyzes the origin of the medical security system theory, and then as the guide of the theories, it analyzes the following issues:Chapter One introduces China's medical insurance system and reviewed its development process and the system characteristics. Chapter Tow analyzes the medical security system and problems in Jiangxi Province. Chapter Three introduces several typical medical security systems in the domestic and foreign selected countries or regions, and obtained important experience of enlightenment. Finally, Chapter Four puts forward how to establish urban and rural medical security system for Jiangxi Province, it includes the policy requirements and the policy options.Therefore, this thesis used the method of document analysis, historical research, comparative analysis and other methods. It reviewed the development process of our country and analyzed the system construction in Jiangxi Province. And learning from abroad which established the basic medical security system and achieve universal coverage.
