The Study On The Development Strategy Of A Country-town Hospital In Jiaonan

With further in-depth medical system reform, and the people growing demand for medical services, medical undertaking ushered in a broad space for development. However, health-care institutions have felt a great pressure in face of the diversity of medical needs and people's requirement of medical services and technological innovation.At present, the medical and health service development is unbalanced in urban and rural areas; the allocation of resources is also unfair. In addition, rural and community medical care is relatively weak. For a long time, the country-town hospital is developing considerably slowly, and it is difficult to meet the growing medical care needs of rural areas, many rural residents have to come to the city for the general hospital treatment, so for the three-tier health care network in rural areas, the country-town hospitals have great potential for development. Deep into the situations, the country-town hospitals commonly have many problems in management besides their low level of medical technology.Look at the country-town hospitals, the vast majority of them are in lack of development strategies or no strategy, so for country-town hospitals, they need to find out their own competitive advantages and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges faced by a clear understanding of repositioning, then they can draw up development strategies to survive and grow.This paper is about the development strategy of a country-town hospital in the city of Jiaonan. It makes an analysis of the current status of Jiaonan country-town hospitals, finds out the relevant problems in hospitals'development, using SWOT analysis method to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats country-town hospital faced. On this basis, we draw up the actual development strategies for country-town hospital, which will have a positive strategic guidance to country-town hospital in the next few years and offer a certain reference to the other country-town hospitals in the city of Jiaonan.
