| objective :To study the changes of plasma concentration of ANP and ET-1 in patients with congestive heart failure and the correlation between them .Methods :Plasma concentration of ANP and ET-1 were measured by ELISA. LVEF and LVEDD were examined by Doppler echocardio graphic .Results :The plasma ANP and ET-1 level in patient group was significantly higher than that of the control group ,and increased with the severity of heart failure . The concentration of ANP correlated positively with the concentration of ET-1.plasma ANP and ET-1 correlated positively with LVEDD and a negative correlated with LVEF,.conclusion:the plasma concentration of ANP and ET-1 increases significantly in patients with heart failure and has obvious correlations with the severity of heart failure.The composition with release of ANP and ET-1 has correlation with LVEDD and LVEF.
