| Background and objective:Brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and endothelin (ET) are all cardiac neurohormone. Studies have demonstrated that elevated BNP levels correlate moderately well with increased left ventricular filling pressure and ventricular size. Increased levels of ANP are produced mainly in response to myocardial stress of the right ventricle. and volume overload. ET is a peptide with potent vasoconstrictive properties, ET-1 is considered to play a major role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension.Along with improvement of interventional measure and equipment, transcathetezr closure has become a frequently used alternative to surgical therapy in the last years with high success rate and low complication rate. And already have been accepted by clinician and patient with CHD.Left to right shunt in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) always cause the heart volume overload, enlarge cardiac size and increase pulmomary artery pressure at different degree, thus induce plasma of BNP,ANP and ET excrete much more .But no reports present concerning whether the change of the plasma degree of BNP,ANP and ET after transcatheter closure.Experiments were designed to observe plasma of BNP,ANP and ET in the patients with CHD treated by transcatheter closure, and to assess the relation between the change of BNP,ANP and ET with age, defect dimensions and the pulmonary artery pressure .Thus to investigate the prognostic effects of CHD according with the changes of BNP ANP and ET after transcathetezer closure. Methods:There have 181 patients with CHD which accept transcatheter closure successfully from Oct,2004 to Feb,2006. According to age,the patient with CHD have been divided into A and B group ,A:age≤12 and B:>12;according to Qp/Qs, the patient with... |
