Clinical Study Of Yiqiyangyin Huashiquyu Therapy To Treat Refractory Nephrotic Syndrome (Qiyin Deficiency Shi-re Yuxue Syndrome)

Purpose:To assess the effects and safety of Yiqiyangyin, Huashiquyu therapy in treating refractory nephroticsyndrome(Qiyin Deficiency Shi-re yuxue syndrome), through the clinical observation of treatment between Western medicine (Steroid and cyclophosphamide) and TCM-WM therapy.Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study, using randomized, controlled, parallel, multi-center clinical trial therap, we divided 55 cases of refractory nephrotic patients with syndrome of Qiyin Deficiency Shi-re yuxue syndromerandomly into TCM-WM group (treatment group) and WM group (control group). To observe the two groups of patients both before and after the treatment including the clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome score,24-hour urinary protein, plasma albumin, blood coagulation, blood lipids and liver and kidney functions, and then evaluate the efficacy and safety of this treatment.Results:The data analysis showed that:the total effective rate in treatment group is 70.4%, control group is 50%, compared the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). after treatment, the TCM-WM group increase plasma albumin, decrease urinary protein, decrease blood lipids, extend APTT, PT(P<0.05); and significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). The treatment group reduce the number of cases of side effects due to glucocorticoid and cytotoxic.Conclusion:Yiqiyangyin, Huashiquyu therapy in treating refractory nephrotic syndrome (Qiyin Deficiency Shi-re yuxue syndrome) reduce urinary protein, increase plasma albumin, improve the main clinical symptoms, reduce the blood hypercoagulability, lower blood lipids. The program of traditional Chinese and western medicinecan significantly enhance the efficacy of medical therapy,, and can reduce.the hormones, cytotoxic drugs side effects.
