Objective:To research the mechanism of treating breast precancer with Curzerene by measuring pathomorphology and hemorheology of the animal model of breast precancer rats. Methods:135 SD rats were randomly divided into seven groups:the blank control group,the breast precancer model group, large,middle and small remedial groups of Curzerene,the comparative group of kanglaite, the comparative group of tamoxifen.Animal model of rat breast precancer was induced with DMBA,Interpose treatment was performed when the second day, and analysis of pathomorphology and hemorheology when the 14th week. Results:Pathological changes in rat mammary tissue showed that the disease model group compared with the control group, the structure there is significant difference compared with the former appears the proportion of breast precancer and cancer was significantly higher than control group (P<0.01). Curcuma each dose group and the disease model group, the proportion of the general proliferation increased, the proportion of breast precancer lesions decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). And Curcuma treatment group compared to the high percentage of breast precancer Kanglaite group (P<0.05), tamoxifen was generally low percentage of hyperplasia (P<0.05). Hemorheology in rats showed that compared with the blank control group, blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, RBC aggregation index, RBC electrophoresis time, fibrinogen, the breast precancer model group increased (P<0.01), Blood viscosity, RBC aggregation index, fibrinogen Curzerene group got back to the level of the blank control group, and had significant difference compared with the breast precancer model group(P<0.01), The treatment of small remedial groups of Curzerene hadn't significant difference compared with large and middle remedial groups of Curzerene(P>0.05). The treatment of remedial groups of Curzerene is better than the comparative group of kanglaite and the comparative group of tamoxifen (P<0.05). Conclusion:Curcuma can reduce breast cancer and breast precancer of animal model of breast precancer rats. its mechanism may be related to Curcuma can improve the animal model of breast precancer rats mechanism of action of blood rheology associated.
