Purpose:To study about the action of Guizhencao with three different types of dry eye.Methods:Preparate three types of dry eye rabbit models (atropine gutta group, meibomian gland destroyed group, and castrated male rabbit group) for animal experiments. Measure SIT and BUT before and after modeled, and detect the lacrimal gland inflammatory factor(IL-1, TNF-α) and apoptotic factor(Fas, bcl-2) expression. After modeled, use Guizhencao treatment of three different types of dry eye rabbit models with SIT, BUT, and detection of apoptosis-related factos and comparison analysis of Guizhencao treatment efficacy of the three types of dry eye.Results:①atropine gutta group:the difference between before and after treatment in SlT was not statistically significant (P>0.05), but the difference of BUT was statistically significant (P<0.01).Fas, bcl, IL and TNF-α expression of lacrimal gland acinar cell in epithelial cells significantly reducing the amount of poSlTive expression of Fas protein after treatment than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant decreased(P<0.01), and the difference of IL was significant increased(P<0.05).②Castrated male rabbits group:the difference between before and after treatment in SIT was not statistically significant (P>0.05), but the difference of BUT was statistically significant (P<0.01).Fas, bcl, IL and TNF-α expression of lacrimal gland acinar cell in epithelial cells showed no difference after treatment(P>0.05).③meibomian gland destroyed group:the difference between before and after treatment in SIT and BUT was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Fas, bcl, IL and TNF-α expression of lacrimal gland acinar cell in epithelial cells showed no difference after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Dry eye of Atropine gutta and Androgen decline can be treated by Guizhencao.Guizhencao can inhibit the apoptosis and inflammatory factor expression in the lacrimal gland of the dry eye of Atropine gutta,but other two types can’t.Guizhencao can be used in the dry eye of tear secretion insufficiency,and depress the expression of apoptosis and inflammatory factor in the lacrimal gland, which has a protective effect on dry eye treatment.
