| Objective:To observe the influence on lung function, dyspnea index, exercise tolerance, quality of life of the Liuzijue to patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Methods:30 male patients with mild or moderate or serious COPD in stable period were selected at random. Patients took the exercise of the Liuzijue for 3 months. Measure before and after the exercise in patients with lung function, dyspnea index, exercise tolerance, and quality of life, then conducted themselves before and after comparison, and statistical processed them.Results:The lung function and exercise tolerance did not change significantly compared with before training of the Liuzijue, but they still increased from the statistic which showed Liuzijue may slow the speed of the lung function decrease and increase the exercise tolerance. Compared with before the exercise, patients'dyspnea index and each index of the quality of life improved significantly which showed the dyspnea symptom decreased and quality of life improve obviously.Conclusion:After the exercise of Liuzijue, patients with stable COPD could reduce patients'dyspnea to a certain extent, relieve the symptoms of breathing difficulties, increase the exercise tolerance and thus effectively improved the quality of life, slowed the disease progress.
