Clinical Study On Treating Essential Hypertension Of The Elder By The Method Of Warming Reinforcing Kidney Yang

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the method of Warming Reinforcing Kidney Yang on treating essential hypertension of the elder and explore its mechanism and treatment. Methods:Sixty Patients of EH were divided into curative group(30 cases) and collating group (30 cases) at random. The curative group was treated by Lotensin and the basic decoction of the method of Warming Reinforcing Kidney Yang while the collating group was treated by Lotensin. Four weeks was a course of treatment. The changes of blood pressure, cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting blood glucose, blood fluxion and variety were observed before and after treatment. Results:Compared with collating group, the method of Warming Reinforcing Kidney Yang has obvious effect on lowering the blood pressure (BP), restoring blood pressure circadian rhythm, improving the general symptoms, regulating lipid and reducing blood plasma viscosity (P<0.05). Conclusion:The method of Warming Reinforcing Kidney Yang is effective in treating Essential Hypertension of the elder.
