Objective:To investigate clinicians'awareness on transfusion knowledge and consciousness of transfusion risk's prevention in Meizhou area, and to know patients' awareness on transfusion knowledge just for the better health education. Statistical methods were used to investigate the factors effecting the awareness on transfusion of the clinicians and patients.Methods:129 of clinicians and 92 patients who were randomly selected from two level two hospital and one three level hospital of Meizhou were inquired by questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into two parts. The first part was the survey of the clinicians. Data included clinicians'awareness on transfusion knowledge and consciousness of prevention of transfusion risk. The second part was the survey of patients. Data focused on the patients' awareness on transfusion knowledge and the evaluation to clinicians. The data were analyzed with univariate and multivariate unconditional logistic regression. Results:â‘ Clinicians in Meizhou area had insufficient knowledge of transfusion. After multivariate unconditional logistic regression analysis, the conclusions showed that the different clinical division (OR=1.871,95%CI:1.758-3.635), the more educational chances(OR=2.143, 95%CI:1.247-4.239) resulted in the better knowledge of transfusion.â‘¡The ideas about transfusion risk were better.â‘¢Statistical analysis showed that patients in had insufficient knowledge of transfusion. The better educational background(OR=1.656,95%CI:0.845-2.938), the longer of healthy education time(OR=2.253,95%CI:1.291-4.810) and the more transfusion(OR=1.839,95%CI:0.960-3.374) resulted in better awareness of transfusion.â‘£The patients had good evaluation to clinicians. The longer healthy education(OR=2.378, 95%CI:1.246-5.157) resulted in the better care during transfusion (OR=1.384, 95%CI:0.681-2.275) could lead to good evaluation. Conclusion:Clinicians in Meizhou area had insufficient knowledge of transfusion, and the ideas about transfusion risk were better. Being trained on knowledge of transfusion was a better way improving the ability, and the clinicians in had active response for it. The patients had good evaluation to clinicians, and healthy education should be strengthened before transfusion just for better medical service.
