Investigation Report Of The Grassroots Medical Workers Awareness Rate And Its Influencing Factors Of Malaria Preventive Knowledge In Fujian Province

Objective To research the grassroots medical works awareness of malaria preventive knowledge and its influence factors in Fujian Province,to afford the theory support for much more effective methods of eradicate malaria.Methods The investigation object include clinical medical, Laboratory and epidemic prevention personnel in1291health center, community health care center and CDC.The investigation content include the malaria Basic Knowledge, clinical knowledge and preventive knowledge.Results The valid questionnaires were5128.The knowlegdge awareness rate of malaria was only51.1%and the excellence rate was25.3%. The rate of Basic Knowledge, clinical knowledge and preventive knowledge were63%,50.3%and29.4%.The knowledge rate of medical workers in CDC was higher than clinical workers.Nanping and Sanming had the highest awareness rate,Xiameng,Zhangzhou,and Quanzhou’s awareness rate in the middle,Putian,Ningde,Longyan and Fuzhou had the lowest awareness rate.The single factor analysis result found sex,age,professional title,education level,length of service and training were connected with the malaria awareness rate.In the multivariate logistic regression model,education level,length of service and training were associated with the malaria preventive knowledge. Conclution The malaria knowledge awareness rate in the grassroots workers is still not reach the national programming goal,we should take various trainings to improve the malaria preventive knowledge awareness rate,so to reach the taget of elimination malaria.
