The Value Of The Appearance And Margin Signs In The Benign And Malignant Breast Lesions By Digital Mammography X-ray

Objective:T0 explore the value of of structure manifestation near the breast masses and margin signs in determine the nature. Materials and Methods:200 female breast lesions were confirmed by operations and Pathology during 2009 were collected. Margin signs and different kinds structure near the breast tumors of benign and malignant breast lesions were retropectly analyzed.The reports and grading for all cases were conpleted by two radiologists based on the standard of BI-RADS. Breast lumps with infiltrating or star sign or distortion were belong to malignant group,and breast lumps with smooth margin were belong to benign group. Results:Smooth margin,infiltratong,spiculation and structures-distortion, pathological,normal structure had obviously different betweet benign and malignant tumors(P<0.05). Infiltrating,spiculation and distortion,pathological structures were mostly found near the malignant lessions, the sensitivity and positive predictive value were 36.4%和94.1%,48.9%和93.5%,54.5%和83.6 %,56.8%和94.3%; while Smooth margin and normal structures were mostly found near the benign lessions. Conclusion:The appearance and margin signs can be taken as a reference to the qualitative diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions by digital mammography X-ray,because it has important value in differentiating the tumors,which is simple and has important clinical value.
