Objective: To explore the distribution characteristics of common etiology and TCM syndrome in 300 cases of pneumonia in children. Methods: 300 cases of pneumonia in hospitalized children with clinical observations, explore the pneumonia in children of etiology in different age , the distribution of the incidence season and TCM syndrome; TCM at different incidence of age, the incidence season.Result: 78 cases of bacterial pneumonia in the study, accounting for 26.00﹪; 108 cases of viral pneumonia, accounting for 36.00%; 58 cases of mycoplasma pneumonia, accounting for 19.33%; 56 cases of mixed infection pneumonia, accounting for 18.67%, indicating pneumonia in children of this study virus is a major pathogen. Three kinds of the identified viral pneumonia in children aged 1 to 3 were 76.19% of respiratory syncytial virus , 71.43% of adenovirus,64.86% of influenza virus,. Description viral pneumonia in children under 3 years old in the highest incidence. 58 cases of mycoplasma pneumonia,of which 1 to 3 years of age accounted for 31.03%; 3 to 7 years old accounted for 53.45%;7 to 14 accounted for 15.52%, indicating in this observation of mycoplasma pneumonia is most common in preschool children. Seasonal incidence of pneumonia in children of different pathogens are no obvious features of infection. Pneumonia in children of different pathogens in TCM syndromes have some features, but no correlation. Syndromes in children of different age at onset of pneumonia has its features: 184 cases of wind-heat closed the lung, 1 to 3 years of age accounted for 40.22%; 3~7 years old accounted for 39.13%; 7 to14 years old accounted for 20.65%, indicating children wind-heat closed the lung pneumonia under the age of 7, the highest proportion of children.101 cases of phlegm-heat closed the lung, of which 1 to 3 years of age accounted for 54.46%, indicating phlegm-heat closed the lung pneumonia more common in children 1 to 3 years. Children with pneumonia in different syndromes of different seasons:95 cases of children with pneumonia of wind-heat closed the lung in spring, accounting for 51.63%; 52 cases in winter, accounting for 28.26%; phlegm-heat close the lung in the spring of 59 cases, accounting for 58.42%, in winter, 20 cases accounted for 19.80%, indicating the TCM of wind-heat and phlegm-heat close the lung more common in spring, winter next best.Conciusion: The distribution of the pathogens and pneumonia in children were significantly affected by age, not by incidence season and Chinese medical syndrome. The Chinese medical syndrome of pneumonia in children was affected by age and incidence season...
