| Objective: To explore the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes and evolvement characteristics of syndrome types in infantile pneumonia.Methods: Explore the correlation between distribution of TCM syndromes and age, season of onset, infected pathogens through the clinical observation on 190 hospitalized children patients with infantile pneumonia. We observed and recorded the syndrome types of the patients at the day of admission (basal point), and 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th day after medication to statistic evolvement characteristics of syndrome types in different observation period.Results: By statistical treatment, the correlation between distribution of TCM syndromes and age, season of onset was determined. However,no association between distribution of TCM syndromes and pathogens was observed. TCM syndromes of infantile pneumonia is a dynamic evolution process in the whole disease,so distribution of each type has certain characteristics in different period.
