Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Subco-Rtical Arteriosclerotic Encephalopa-Thy By Combination Ofacupun-Cture With Medicine

Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with medicine in the treatment of subcortical arteriosclerotic encephalo-pathy.Method: 92 cases of SAE were evenly divided into four groups, each group has 23 patients.The western medicine group were treated with duxil, the medicine group use naodesheng basis on the western medicine group,and the acupuncture combined medicine groupl were treated with acupuncture plus duxil, and the acupuncture combined medicine group 2 were given duxil,acupuncture and naodesheng.The therapeutic effect of four groups were assessed with HDS scale, ADL scale and event-related potentials of P300 before and after treatment.Results: 1.The efficacy was 60.86% in the western medicine group and 69.57% in the medicine group, 73.91% in the acupuncture medication combined group 1, 86. 96%in the acupuncture medication combined group 2.The difference of the curative effect betweenthe acupuncture medication combined group 2 with the other groups was obvious (P <0.05). 2.The HDS score of the patients in four groups improved significantly (P <0.05). The score of the acupuncture medication combined group 2 improved clearly after treatment.And in this item the difference between the acupuncture medication combined group 2 and the western medicine group was obvious(P<0. 05).3 .The ADL score of the patients in four group reduced significantly(P <0.0 5). The score of the acupuncture medication combined group 2 reduced clearly after treatment.And in this item the difference between the acupuncture medication combined group 2 and the western medicine group was obvious(P<0. 01).4.The latency and amplitude of P300 of the patients in four group changed significantly (P <0.0 5), After the treatment , the difference of the latency between the acupuncture medication combined group 2 and the western medicine group was obvious (P <0.05),but no the amplitude(P >0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of the acupuncture medication combined group 2 has advantage in treating SAE than others,and this treatment can improve the intelligence and activities daily living of patients,thereby promoting recovery of brain function.
