Clinical Study On Treating The Phlegm Closed Lungs Pneumonia Asthma With The Self Maxing Mixture

ObjectiveTo discuss etiology,Pathogenesis,treatment and formulas of pneumonia asthma in theory,clinical aspects.To estimate the curative effect about the self Maxing mixture by clinic observation when it is used to treat the phlegm closed lungs pneumonia asthma.Methods1. General MaterialStudy of this experiment is from May 2009 to March 2010 at the second Chinese medicine hospital in Guangdong Province, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Pediatrics met the inclusion criteria for the phlegm closed lungs pneumonia asthma disease closed 60 cases.The use of randomized, controlled, prospective clinical research methods, in chronological order met the inclusion criteria were randomly selected children with pneumonia, according to random distribution method, divided into treatment group (conventional therapy combined with Western medicine Maxing mixture treatment), the control group (conventional western medicine treatment group). There are 30 cases in the treatment group,including 23 men and 7 women,the average age of 2.8140±1.5030 years old (ranged from 1 years old-8 years old).There are 30 cases in the control group,including 24 men and 6 women,the average age of 2.8833±1.0228 years old (ranged from 1 years old-8 years old).2. Research MethodsConventional treatment group, patients treated in Western medicine on the basis of oral medicine for the self Maxing mixture; control group received routine western medicine.①Western conventional treatment:For bacterial infection or bacterial co-infection, we give intravenous Rocephin (ceftriaxone) and symptomatic treatment; For non-bacterial infection, We give symptomatic treatment:fever are to oral Merrill Lynch, Expectoration are to film oral bromhexine hydrochloride, Dyspnea are to oral procaterol tablets.②Maxing mixture:Sunburn ephedra 3-8g, almonds 6-10g, gypsum 3-12g, Campanulaceae 3-10g, Peucedanum 6-10g, France Summer 6-10g, Trichosanthes leather 6-10g, Tinglizi 3-8g, sea clam shell 10-15g, Aster 6-10g, licorice 3-6g. Usage:one dose daily, decoction, a two-clothes; Treatment:7 days. according the rate of children with pneumonia on the basis of grades, We observed two groups of children before and after treatment the overall treatment effect and fever, cough, expectoration, wheezing, pulmonary rales, and other points of the situation and the symptoms and signs of fever, cough, pulmonary rales disappeared time and average hospital stay time.3. Data processing and statistical analysisTo collect all relevant information into the computer, and set the input quality control procedures to ensure the quality of data entry.statistical analyses were performed using the Statistical Package for Social software(SPSS for Windows). According to the difference of data and observed indicators, measurement data using t test, count data using chisquare test and The mean between the two groups were compared using analysis of variance, all data are mean±standard deviation using the form.diferences with p<0.05 were considered significant.Results:All 60 cases of children included in the results, with no loss case. Two groups in gender, age, course and treatment points on the main symptoms and signs were not significantly different (P＜0.05). The total effective rate of treatment group (conventional therapy combined with Western medicine treatment Maxing mixture) is 96.67%; the total effective rate of control group (conventional western medicine treatment group) is 86.67%,and by statistical analysis, the overall effect of the treatment group more superior than the control group (P＜0.05). Treatment group in the reduction of fever, cough, sputum, pulmonary rales main symptoms and signs such as the score is better than the control group (P＜0.05), in reducing the clinical symptoms and signs of bronchial pneumonia in children is better than the total score the control group (P＜0.05). While in the treatment group, fever, cough, pulmonary rales disappeared time and the average hospitalization time was significantly shorter,compared with the control group (P＜0.05).ConclusionMaxing mixture in treating the phlegm closed lungs pneumonia asthma have a good clinical effect.It can improve the fever, cough, expectoration, pulmonary rales, and other symptoms and signs, also can reduce the fever, cough, pulmonary rales disappeared time and the average hospitalization time.
