SignificanceCervical spondylosis (C. S) is a common spine degeneration disorders, occurs in the elderly, is common in clinical syndrome. As society develops, people tend to work gradually seat and head-down position, The incidence of greater occipital neuralgia has been increasing, from a lot of research literature review, it is generally believed that greater occipital neuralgia is the result of various factors, including mechanical factors, anatomical factors, chemical factors. There are many treatments for occipital neuralgia, mainly acupuncture, closed, drug treatment, greater occipital nerve block, etc, but these treatment methods have shortcomings, and the course hard to be cured, recurrent.Fixed rotation manipulation is Professor Lin Yingqiang under 30 years of clinical experience, the main features of tactics are targeted, unique, and relatively standardized. The way the force generated to restore cervical internal and external mechanical balance, directly on the lesion segment, etc. By observing the treatment for cervical rotation manipulation of clinical efficacy of greater occipital neuralgia, and hopefully fixed rotation Manipulative treatment for cervical occipital neuralgia operating specifications to provide the scientific basis of the exact clinical.ObjectivesThrough the observation of fixed rotationl manipulation of clinical research, to summary the effectiveness and standard of greater occipital nerve in cervicogenic in its treatment programs, for it clinical applications, track means to provide scientific theory. Methods Randomized controlled by a simple method,70 patients met the inclusion criteria of cervical occipital neuralgia were randomly divided into treatment group were fixed rotation practices, acupuncture control group, observed the previous week average level of pain, duration, attack frequency, headache index calculated, the overall effect of the recent observation of treatment after two courses (courses of treatment to cure the patient, not to continue treatment), To calculate day of pain, duration, attack frequency, headache index after treatment. To observed before and after treatment were the clinical symptoms and signs to quantify the observed score, Thus to evaluate the efficacy both Fixed rotational manipulation and the efficacy of acupuncture treatment.ResultMet the inclusion criteria of 70 patients after two courses of treatment, comparing its clinical efficacy, the total efficiency of the two groups was significant difference; the recovery rate of the two groups there was a significant difference, the treatment group and control their headache index before and after treatment, after t test, the difference was significant, treatment group and control group after treatment (points difference) compared to after t test, the difference was very significant. Note by the different treatment, both groups have improved overall, but the difference based on changes in the points before and after treatment comparison, the overall improvement in the treatment group than the control group. Other patients in the headache, neck tenderness, sleep, attention in the significant improvement in both groups.there were not severe local tissue damage, spinal cord and other neurological side effects.ConclusionFixed-point approach is a safe and effective method to treat Cervical Greater occipital neuralgia. It can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, the total effective rate and cure rate significantly, it is worth further study and clinical use.
