The Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Medicine In The Prevention Of Nausea And Vomiting Post-thyroidectomy

ObjectivesThrough evaluate and compare the curative effect of medicine ondansetron alone,acupuncture in Neiguan(PC 6) alone and integration of acupuncture with medicine on treating nausea and vomiting post-thyroidectomy, to research the prevention strategy of nausea and vomiting post-thyroidectomy.MethodsThe female patients who are eligible for elective thyroidectomy, accord-ing to the principle of random allocation to treatment groups average:I group (intravenous ondansetron 4mg+acupuncture Neiguang points);â…¡group (intravenous ondansetron 4mg+pseudo-acupuncutre Neiguang points);â…¢gro-up (intravenous physiological saline+acupuncture Neiguang points);cont-rol groupâ…£were (intravenous physiological saline+pseudo-acupuncture Neiguang points),30 cases each. After routine anesthesia induction of pro-pofol 20-25 ml/h+remifentanil 20-25ml/h constant infusion of micro-pum-p, ondansetron or physiological saline were given intravenously after ind uction of anesthesia, acupuncture Neiguang points in the awake extubation in patients after return to ward implementation by the same performer,ob-servation of surgery to post-operative 8h,24h in all patients, the incid-ence of PONV, nausea visual analog scale (NVAS) to rate their degree of na-usea, and the patients who vomiting were recorded frequency of vomiting.ResultsTreatment group(â… ,â…¡,â…¢)incidence of PONV were significantly lower than the control group (â…£), P<0.05;treatment comparison between groups, nostatistical significance, P>0.05.â… andâ…¡,â…¢andâ…¡group time between postoperation 0-8h degree of nausea (NVAS score) compared with clear st-atistical significance, P<0.05.â… andâ…¢,â…¡andâ…¢group 0-24h time perio d, the frequency of vomiting compared with clear statistical significance, P<0.05.ConclusionIn reducing the incidence of nausea and vomiting post-thyroidectomy, the acupuncture Neiguang points can be used as an alternative treatment for ondansetron,but the extent of acupuncture Neiguang points was superi-or in reducing nausea degree than ondansetron treatment, but ondansetron have a stronger anti-vomiting effect, reducing the number of the vomiting. The high incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting, thyroidectomy, ac upuncture points combined intravenous ondansetron not only to prevent na-usea and vomiting post-thyroidectomy, but also a greater degree of improv-ement in nausea and vomiting, and reducing frequency of vomiting, with cli-nical applications significance, worthy of promotion.
