Application Of Proteomics Methods In The Aupuncture Mchanism Study

ObjectiveTo introduct the theory of proteomics research, describe the research status of proteomics in acupuncture research, for the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for new ideas.MethodsWe electronically searched CNKI, VIP, WANFANG, CBM, and PubMed databases from 1989 to 2010. "Western blot" OR "Proteomics" OR " Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis " AND "acupuncture" as key words.Results14 proteomics researches of acupuncture were Included in our study. Including 13 animal studies,1 clinical trials. They were mainly to the nervous system diseases, including:cerebral infarction, gastric mucosal injury, migraine headache, rapid arrhythmias, damage spinal cord, obesity, gastric ulcer.Conclusions1. On going study of proteomics researches of acupuncture and moxibustion were mainly about acupuncture research, few about moxibustion research;2. Of studies were mainly animal studies;3. Of studies were mainly nervous system diseases;4. Caused by the general observation of proteomics researches of acupuncture to the careful observation of the single-point or single effect of the meridian of proteomics, that is to carefully and systematic study the direction of development;5. Studies have shown that acupuncture two-way adjustment, the overall effect of regulation on the protein staining reflected that: Acupuncture can raise healthy protein, but also can undermine the health of the protein down; acupuncture can cause multiple body kinds of protein.Acupuncture is a branch of one of the life sciences, acupuncture effect is a phenomenon of life activities, life events is built on the basis of proteins and their interactions in the process of information transmission process is gene expression, protein function expression, protein-protein reaction sequence of interaction information. Therefore, starting from the protein staining to study the effect of acupuncture response protein group, would be to study the best way of effective mechanism of acupuncture.
