ObjectiveTo assess the prevalence of hyperuricemia and its correlate influence factors among residents in Shenyang.Method675 residents aged over 19 years old from several districts of Shenyang were randomly selected and examined. General conditions were investigated. And physical check-ups and corresponding lab index were rendered. Data was analysed by SPSS13.0. ResultThe prevalence rate was 11.6% for all, higher in men than in women (19.6% vs. 3.8%, P<0.05). There was no significant difference among different age groups in men or women (P>0.05). The value of TG,DBP,BMI,WC in HUA group was higher significantly than that of normal group but HDL-C was lower significantly (P<0.05). The results of the Logistic regression showed that abnormal OGTT 2 hours blood glucose and overweight were the independent risk factors of hyperuricemia.ConclusionThe prevalence rate of hyperuricemia in Shenyang was moderate level, but so many factors were correlative closely with it.
