Black currant(Ribes nigrum L.) is a genus of Saxifragaceae, widely distributed in Europe and Asia. Xinjiang is one of the origin of black currant. Ribes nigrum L. had been regonized as a medicine to treat disease of heart head blood-vessel and arthritis four hundreds ago. It is a kind of to strengthen the body's immune function of Chinese herbal medicine.Twelve compounds were isolated and purified by column of silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and preparative high performance liquid chromatography from a crude extract obtained from the stalk of the plant Ribes Nigrum L. The structures were unambiguously elucidated on the basis of NMR and mass spectrometric. These compounds were identified as(Ⅰ)Isorhapo-ntigenin-3-O-β-D-glucoside, (Ⅱ) p-Hydroxy cinnamic acid, (Ⅲ) Ferulic acid,(IV)3,4-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-Benzoic acid, (Ⅴ) 3,4,5-trihydro-xybenzoic acid, (VI)3,4,5-trihydro-xybenzoic acid ethyl ester,(Ⅶ) methyl 3,4,5-trihydroxyben-zoate, (Ⅷ)4-hydroxy-benzoic acid,(Ⅸ) methyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate,(Ⅻ) 2,3,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid,(Ⅺ) 2,3,5-trihydro-xybenzoic acid, (Ⅻ)β-D-glucogallin.HPLC quantitive analytical method of 3,4,5-trihydro-xybenzoic acid and 3,4-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-Benzoic acid in the black currants is established. The content of 3,4,5-trihydro-xybenzoic acid and 3,4-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-Benzoic acid are 19.87% and 1.58%, respectively. Up to now,the phytochernical constitutes from the stalk parts and undergroud part of black currant had been compared for the first time, which are useful to exploiting and utilizing bioactive compounds of natural plants, and this thesis give phytochemistry proofs to chcmotaxonomy.
