Objective To research the feature of primary fallopian tube carcinoma, and to improve the understanding of clinical gynecologists for it in order to improve the prognoses of patients.Methods 10 cases of Primary Carcinoma of the Fallopian Tube from 1971 to 2009 were analyzed in clinical features, assistant examinations, treatments and prognoses.Results The mean age of these patients was 55 years.Eighteen were menopausal women. The most common clinical situation was pelvic mass (9), followed by abnormal vaginal discharge (6), abnormal vaginal bleeding (5),and abdominal pain (5).There are 4 CA-125 of preoperations abnormal rising. All types of their pathology are adenocarcinoma. Dendriticcancer (5), adenocarcinoma (2), poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma (3).FIGO stages:6 patients in stage I,2 in stage II,2 in stage III,and none in stage IV.Conclusions Primary Carcinoma of the Fallopian Tube is a rare gynecologic malignancy that has various and nonspecific presentations. Preoperative diagnosis of the disease is extremely difficult. Patients are often diagnosed at advanced stages.Surgery and chemotherapy are main therapy for this disease.
