Objective:Through observing the therapeutic effect of using qing jie huo xue tang combining necessary western medicine compared to single western medicine to treat retinal vasculitis, investigate the effects of qing jie huo xue tang to clinical expressions of patients with retinal vasculitis, and provide a new way of treating the disease.Methods:Separated the 60 RV patients(91 eyes) consistent with our diagnostic criteria into two groups:The 30 patients(43 eyes) of the test group take the qing jie huo xue tang and western medicine if needs, while the 30 patients(48 eyes) of the control group take western medicine, The period of clinical trial was 3 months. Before and after the clinical trial we tested and compared the visual acuity, fundus hemorrhage, fluorescein Leakage, and the Chinese medicine general symptom as well as follow-up recurrence or not of the two groups.Results:Before the clinical trial, the two groups had no significant difference in age, course of disease, visual acuity, Chinese medicine general symptom score. After the clinical trial, analysis the effects in each group, both of the two treatment can improve the symptom and signs of the patients. Compared the effects between the test group and the control group, the two groups had no significant difference in visual acuity (P=0.524> 0.05) and fluorescein Leakage (P=0.051> 0.05). The test group had better effects on the improvement of the fundus hemorrhage (P=0.022< 0.05) and Chinese medicine general symptom (P=0.001< 0.05). Conclusion:1. Qingrejiedu Huoxuehuayu law, that is, qing jie huo xue tang for the treatment of retinal vasculitis is able to improve visual acuity, mitigate fundus fluorescein leakage, promote blood absorption and improve symptoms.2. The decoction combined the western medicine have better effects on the improvement of the fundus hemorrhage and Chinese medicine general symptom. The joint treatment of retinal vasculitis can promote the absorption of blood, improve patient symptoms, and has much more comprehensive treatment of the role of the ideal.
