Diabetes is a disease due to insufficient insulin secretion, insulin action or insulin resistance, which lead to glucose metabolism disorder, secondary to fat and protein metabolism disorder.Sustained high blood sugar is the basic biochemical characteristics and main reason of its complications occurrence and development. The clinical manifestation of diabetes is polydipsia, polyphagia, polyuria and weight loss. Diabetes including clinical type 1 and type 2, especially type 2 diabetes is more common.According to clinical experience and literature, the paper select lifting powder as a treatment for diabetes drug screening of compatibility, which have three Chinese medicines, including stiff silkworm, Rhubarb and Turmeric. The prescription have some function such as dredging the Qi activity of triple warmer, pungent taste and cool nature, ascending lucidity and descending turbidity, clearing away heat and toxic materials and cooling blood to clean up. The paper explores effective hypoglycemic Chinese herbal medicines by uniform design method and evaluates tie clinical effect of diabetes.1. The cause and pathogenesis of diabetesWe think that spleen-kidney-deficiency is disease occurred cause, and phlegm, haemostasis; dryness-heat is the common pathology of diabetic. The occurred intermediate links of diabetes lie in dysfunction of Qi in triple warmer. Qi activity stagnation in triple warmer and Qi, liquid, essence flow barrier will formed the constitutes with pathological constitution phlegm at early diabetes. The heat of Qi depression in triple warmer and fire consuming Qi and injuring yin formed the basic pathogenesis of diabetes of dryness-heat and yin deficiency. 2. Compatibility of medicines according to the dysfunction of Qi in triple warmerIt is main methods to solve the main diabetic pathology by soothing Qi activity, removing blood stasis, clearing phlegm, moistening dryness and clearing,so the paper use stiff silkworm, Rhubarb, Turmeric, which belong to lifting powder, as a treatment for diabetes drug screening of compatibility. Three drugs can benefit the restoration of glucose and fat metabolism3. Experimental study3.1 The study on recipes of lifting decoction treating diabetes.Because the Chinese herbal formula contains variety drugs, which overall effects embody by compatibility of various drugs, including drug dose and compatibility ratio, this study explore effective hypoglycemic Chinese herbal medicines by uniform design method. The research shows that lifting rhubarb soup:Turmeric:Bombyx≈1:1:2 for the best in the hypoglycemic effect.3.2The influence on blood glucose and lipid in diabetic mice of lifting decoctionThe results show that lifting Decoction has the hypoglycemic effect at certain, but no significant hypoglycemic effects on western medicine. And lifting Decoction play a significant role in its lipid-lowering, which benefit for curing diabetes caused by chronic high blood sugar metabolism disorder.4 Clinical StudiesThe paper observe the effect of lifting decoction on diabetes by clinical evidence and empirical observation during clinical out-patient treatment.the study list three complete treatment of cases. Case 1, because of excessive heat at middle warmer and consumption of yin caused by dry hot, Xie Huang powder and modified lifting decoction were used. Case 2, which belong to heal self. The blood glucose have a marked lower at the beginning with lifting decoction, but after still slow recovery. Case 3, because of yin deficiency of liver and kidney, lycium-rehmannia pill and lifting decoction were used. According to the effect of treatment, lifting decoction can improve metabolic syndrome symptoms caused by High blood sugar.
