Sports medicine is a quickly growing, full of challenges, enormous development potential and multi-interdisciplinary clinical subject. With the increasing demand for exercise capacity, the study of sports medicine is uninterrupted growth and perfecting. Formerly, the anti-movement tiredness and sports injury treatment is the main responsibilities of the sports medicine. However, with the popularization and improving of athletic sports, with the development of modern medicine, Sports medicine has not just been managing injuries. The idea of putting prevention first in medical work sinks deeper and deeper into people's hearts. The people who should really be concerned about change from patient to healthy people. And the breakthrough point of medical intervention has been advanced. To the players, the Sports Trauma not only directly affects the sports level, but also limits the age of Sport Life. The player's joint injury has always been the investigative hotspot in sports medical realm. How effectively prevent joint injuries, is closely related to the sport training effect, the performance improvement, the health of players and the development of sports value.Based on those reports in medical journals of China at present, as an important branch of traditional Chinese medicine, application of the Reversed Acupuncture-moxibustion Treatment is initially rather narrowly. However, using the acupuncture and moxibustion to prevent disease has anciently existed in our country. "Jin's 3-Needle Technique" is renowned as a flourishing new Cantonese school of acupuncture philosophy inside and outside of China. The 3-Shoulder Points, The 3-Lumbar Points, The 3-Knee Points, and The 3-Ankles Points are widely applied in correlated disease. And treatment efficacy of there techniques is assured. The research object is using those four groups "Jin's 3-Needle" mentioned above to subject to acupuncture. And the paper purposed to investigate the efficacy and feasibility of that using acupuncture and moxibustion to prevent player's joint injuries. ObjectiveTo study and evaluate the relationship between the Reversed Acupuncture-moxibustion Treatment and the prevention of player's joint injuries.Methods110 cases of healthy volunteers were assigned to the test group (56 cases) and conventional care (54 cases) group according to their wishes. The test group received "Jin's 3-Needle Technique" for the waist, shoulder knees and ankles; The conventional care group did not do any measures, but to treat with "Jin's 3-Needle Technique" after had joint injuries, every six weeks, Treatment 3 months. The participants suffered joint injuries was assessed with joint functional rating scale before treatment and after the 3rd,6th time of treatment.Results1,The joint injuries (person-trips) during the test were not significant between the two groups (P>0.05).2,There were no marked significances in comparison of score of ASES and Marur on the two groups (P>0.05), but the score of VAS, JOA and HSS(P<0.01, P<0.001).3,Comparison of the mean threshold-differences between the score of ASES, Marur, VAS, JOA and HSS after treatment between the two groups, for each frequency revealed no significant difference(x2 test, P>0.05).4,The cure duration in the test group was significantly shorter than that in conventional care group(P<0 01). ConclusionThe reversed acupuncture-moxibustion treatment has obvious effect to reduce the damage of waist and knees injuries induced by sports, shortened healing time after had joint injuries. That means the reversed acupuncture-moxibustion treatment plays a role in the prevention of player's joint injuries.
