The Immediate Effect Of Baihui Point To Intracranialarteria Cerebri Media Flow Velocity In TCD

ObjectiveTo observe intracranial arteria cerebri media blood flow velocity of Baihui point after acupuncture on acute ischemic stroke patients.Method23 pollinosis patients were randomly assigned into two groups, Baihui group with 12 patients and controlled group with 11 patients both carried acupuncture treatment. Observe its blood flow velocity and other index of TCD in each group carried acupuncture sequentially, and compare them between the two groups.ResultIt was different from before both in the two groups on Vs,Vd,and Vm obviously (P<0.05), no differences on PI and RI between the two groups (P>0.05). It was much more change compared between before and after carried acupuncture treatment on the arteria cerebri media flow velocity than the controlled group(P<0.05).ConclusionHead-Acupuncted can rise the flow velocity of intracranial arter-ia cerebri media, and use the Baihui point will take much more advantage than the pain gives. For its safty and convenience, it is suggested to operate on the acute ischemic stroke in-patient to better-supply blood the brain.
