Object:To investigate the using of lipid-regulatory drug in in-patient with cardiovascular disease in Meizhou district and analyze the effect of various factors on the using of lipid-regulatory drug.Methods:1496 patients discharged from 1999 and 2008 with one of the following diseases: hypertension, coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis were collected (excluding repeat screening) in the department of cardiology in a unique third-level grade A hospital in Meizhou district. And age, gender, diagnosis, blood lipid, blood pressure, blood glucose and medicine treatment were recorded. Patients were divided into two groups:1999 group and 2008 group. And each group was divided into two subgroup:<60 years group and≥60 years group. Inter-and inner-group gender, diagnosis, type of hyperlipemia, risks, blood pressure and medicine treatment were compared and the effects of various inter-and inner-factors on the using of lipid-regulatory drug.Results:1 The average age of patients in group 2008 is higher than that in group 1999 (67.5±12.5 years vs. 64.8±10.7 years, p<0.01). Combination of diseases increased with aging.2 The difference of hyperlipemia classification is significant. Percentage of patients with hypertriglyceridemia reduced from 51.6% to 40.0% in 10 years. While it also accounts for the largest percent. Percentage of patients with low high-density lipoprotein increased from 15.0% to 30.0%, which is significant than others.3 The difference of hyperlipemia risk classification is significant. Percentage of middle risk group reduced from 17.8% to 7.3% in 10 years. Percentage of high risk group increased from 62.7% to 66.1%. Percentage of very high risk group increased from 19.5% to 26.6%.4 The percentage of using lipid-regulatory drug in 2008 (73.8%) is higher than that in 1999 (13.6%).5 The difference of medicine using is significant between two groups. n-3 fatty acids drug is the only one used in 1999. While statins is mainly used in 2008. At the same time, fibrates using accounts for 0.4% and n-3 fatty acids using accounts for 0.7%.Conclusions:1 the age of in-patient with cardiovascular diseases increased and percentage of combination diseases increased in Meizhou district in 10 years. 2 Percentage of in-patients with dyslipidemia increased in Meizhou district in 10 years. The difference of hyperlipemia classification is significant. Percentage of patients with hypertriglyceridemia reduced. While it also accounts for the largest percent. Percentage of patients with low high-density lipoprotein increased significantly. Percentage of very high risk group increased. 3 The percentage of lipid-regulatory drug using increased significantly, especially statins.
