The Effect Of Rinse Solution's Temperature On Complications After Electroform Pneumatolytic Resection Of Prostate

OBJECTIVE:To explore the influence on systospasm and bleeding by rinse solution's temperature after electroform pneumatolytic resection of prostate and to select a best temperature of rinse solution.METHODS:The standard object of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) patients were randomly assigned into three groups:room temperature group(A ,n=50, 20-25℃), body temperature group(B ,n=50,35-37℃),heating group(C ,n=50, 38-40℃). Considering age,weight,International prostate symptom score (IPSS),sesean,type of anesthesia (continuous epidural anest- hesia ),intraoperative hemorrhage,length of operation,perioperative med- icine,flushing time,flushing dose and speed, significant differences were not found between the three groups.Trilumen single balloon catheter (20-24F)were intriduced into the bladders of all patients after operation for continuous bladder irrigation with 3L normal saline.Coordinate the flushing speed in accordance with the color of the eluate. And compare the red blood cell count(RBC) three day after the operation.RESULT:RBC in urine of all groups decreased day after day. RBC in urine of B group is significantly fewer than group A and C (P>0.05).But there was no significant difference between group A and B 2 day after the prostate operation (P<0.05). CONCLUSION:Low temperature may aggravate contraction of bladder and staxis of prostatic nest.High temperature may promote local blood circulation of bladder and vasodilation may increase the count of bladder bleeding. Rinse solution with body temperature will not irritate bladder after operation and influence the vessel of bladder, thus reduce the frequency of systospasm and count of bladder bleeding afer prostate operation. Using the body temperature rinse solution, we can alleviate the pain of patients and reduce the hospital expenditure and stay.It worth to be widely used.
