The FSFI scores in each domain of sexual function were then compared with those of 71 nondiabetic controls. The associations between the FSFI scores and certain clinical variables were determined. The data were analyzed with the computer program SPSS vesion 12 by means of descriptive analysis,ANOVA,Logistic regression and Chi-square.Results The FSFI scores in the diabetes women was 18.68±8.96,lower than that of the control group(23.96±5.78,p=0.000),The FSFI scores in all the domains were all lower in the diabetes women. The prevalence in diabetes women was 81.4%,much higher than that of the nondiabetes controls 50.7%(p<0.001).Age correlated significantly with sexual dysfunction among women with type 2 diabetes. Diabetes, age, and menopause were determined risk factors that might cause female sexual dysfunction. Conclusion FSD is high in women with type 2 diabetes.A possible determinant is age.
