Clinical Research On Zi Yin Jiang Huo Method On Treating Menopausal Syndrome Caused By Deficiency Of Yin And Excess Of Fire

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Zi Yin Jiang Huo method on patients suffering from Menopausal Syndrome(MPS) caused by Deficiency of Yin and Excess of Fire.Try to explore its potential mechanism.And observe the effects of the Zi Yin Jiang Huo method on the quality of life(QOL) among patients with MPS.Method: 41 cases with MPS caused by Deficiency of Yin and Excess of Fire were randomly divided into 2 groups ,they're:23 cases in the treatment group and 18 cases in the control group.patients in the treatment group were given "ZI YIN JIANG HUO Compound" for oral and in the control group were given "KUN TAI Capsule".The treatment period was 8 weeks.We observed the changes of the vary of the clinical symptoms' scores using Kupperman perimenpausal Scales and the scores of QOL.Results:The totally effective rate of the treatment group was 73.91% and the control group was 44.44% with ststistical difference(P<0.05).In the both two groups ,the scors of KMI were decrease Significant (P<0.01),but with significant difference in the two groups(P<0.01).After treatment the treatment group had improvement in physiology,psychology and society domains of QOL,and had a significant improvement in physiology and psychology domains (P<0.01).the control group had a improvement in physiology and psychology domains,and had a significant improvement in physiology domains (P<0.01). In the physiology domain the treatment group improved much more than the control group(P<0.01).Conclution: Zi Yin Jiang Huo method could relief the clinical symptoms,keep the body in balan and improve life quality. Zi Yin Jiang Huo method could be regarded as one of effective ways treatment of MPS.
