The experimental group was treated by tiao-ganjiang-ya-fang combined with standardized antihypertensive treatment program, The control group was given simple standardized anti hypertensive treatment program, The study was divided into the introduction period and the randomized treatment period. Blood pressure, TCM syndrome and quality of life were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.Antihypertensive effect: In control group, the total effective rate was 85.19%, the test group was 89.66%, and there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05) Antihypertensive amplitude: after treatment, blood pressure levels were significantly lower than before treatment(P< 0.01). There was no significant difference between the two groups in SeSBP and SeDBP(P>0.05), There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05) compared with the reduction of PP.2.TCM syndrome curative effect: the control group, the total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine 70.37%; test group was 93.10%, there was significant difference between the groups(P<0.05). TCM syndrome points: after treatment, two groups of TCM syndrome points before treatment signi-ficantly reduced compared with before treatment(P<0.01); the difference between the two groups of TCM syndrome score was significantly different(P <0.05).3. Quality of life: the physiological symptoms in the two groups, physical symptoms, sleep status, angry or vigor, forced, compared with those before treatment, the difference was significant(P<0.01), between the two groups of somatic symptoms, functional, sleep status, angry or vigor, working state of the treatment, the difference between before and after treatment compared with significant(P<0.05?p<0.01).Conclusion: tiao-gan-jiang-ya-fang combined with standardized antihyper-tensive treatment program has obvious curative effect in reducing PP, improving TCM syndrome and improving the quality of life.
