Clinical Observation On Zhibaierdi Tang Treating Perimenopausal Syndrome Caused By Fire Excess From Yin Deficiency

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Zhibaierdi Tang in treating PMS caused by fire excess from yin deficiency and its impact on the quality of life.Methods:Collect 100 patients with perimenopausal syndrome.The patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(50cases)and the control group(50 cases).The patients of treatment group were treated with Zhibaierdi Tang.The control group was treated with Kuntai capsule.After 8 weeks,compared changes of the two groups of kupperman score,TCM Syndrome score,MEN-QOL score and safety indexes,and evaluated by statistical methods.Results:(1)Compared in the two groups,the total effective rate was 98% in the t reatment group,and 72% in the control group.The comparison after treatment was ma de between the two groups,Z=-5.907,P<0.05,the difference was statistically signifi cant,the comprehensivel efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of thecontrol group.(2)Compared in the control group and the treatment group,the Kupperman score and TCM syndrome score were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)comparison between the treatment group and the control group,the improvement of Kupperman in both groups was lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Comparison between the two groups after treatment,the treatment group in the each symptom of Hectic fever and sweating,Insomnia and dreamful sleep,Emotional irritability,Palpitation,Swirl,Fatigue,Urinary Symptoms,Dyspareunia,Pain of Joint and muscles and limbs,Paresthesia is better than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);There was no statistically significant difference inthe symptoms of depression,headache,and sense of ant in Skin(P<0.05.(4)in the two groups after treatment compared single symptoms of syndromes,treatment group after treatment of TCM syndrome with single symptom effectiveness were significantly higher than that of control group,difference has statistical significance(P< 0.05).(5)Compared in the control group and the treatment group,the MEN-QOL in each dimension score were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)there was no significant change in the safety indexes between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment(P >0.05).the difference was not statistically significant,which indicates that modified Zhibai Dihuang Tang has good safety.Conclusion:Zhibaierdi Tang is effective in treating perimenopausal syndrome caused by fire excess from yin deficiency,which can effectively improve the symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome and relieve the symptoms of hot flashes and sweat,and improve the quality of life of women in perimenopausal period.
