Menopausal Syndrome Deficient Yin Induces Vigorous Fire Clinical Research Investigation Of Etiology

Objective:through observing the clinical effectiveness of decoction called " gengnianxinfang" in treating the deficient yin induces vigorous fire type of menopausal syndrome,get the mechanism of action and apply the effective treatment methods into clinical use,at the same time study the correlation factors of etiology.Methods:(1)clinical research:selecting 88 cases of out-patient,treat with gengnianxinfang for 2 months. a dose of this decoction took twice a day in morning and evening.Observing improvements after treatment while assaying serum E2,LH,FSH levels to determine the effectiveness of treatment(2)etiology methods: survey 140 cases of patients with menopausal syndrome,88 cases from out-patient of women department of traditional Chinese medicine hospital of Jiangsu,52 cases from out-patient and communities of Hong Kong and Macao.These cases were given one by one inquire through the introduction of formula,either by themselves or with the help of doctors.Through analyzing of these inquires that include physical, psychological,social and other aspects,get the correlation factors of etiology.Results:(1) clinical efficacy:cure rate is 48.9%,effective rate is 46.6%,total effective rate is 9897.7%,which prove the significant clinical efficacy.The E2,FSH,LH levels changed obviously(P<0.001),FSH,LH levels descent while E2 levels ascend obviously,integration rate of syndrome noticeably decent,the symptoms integration rate(like hectic fever and flushed face,sweating,irritating,pain in the back and loin,insomnia,depressive and worry)had statistical significance(P<0.01)(2)①investigation of the etiology analysis:44-year-old 45 to-49 years old,>54-year-old groups of women in Hong Kong and Macao,this disease incidence is higher than the corresponding age group of women in najing,while the incidence of 50-54 age group of women in Nanjing is higher than the corresponding age group of Hong Kong and Macao.②Nanjing,Hong Kong and Macao occupational composition analysis:the disease incidence of mental is higher than manual workers,while the incidence of retirees and families women are higher than the manual workers.There is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05)③psychological analysis:nanjing groups is 73.8%of self-esteem rate which is higher than Hong Kong and Macao groups of 23%.This analysis has statistical significance(P<0.01)④Comparison of the two districts social factors:the rate of divorce,death of a spouse in nanjing is 32%which is noticeably higher than Hong Kong and Macao groups of 15.3%.the habit of eating piquancy and stimulating food rate,nanjing is 63% which is higher than Hong Kong and Macao of 19.23%.above all have statistical significance(P<0.01)⑤Comparison of clinical synptoms:the rate of syndrome of hectic fever and flushed face,Hong Kong and Macao is 50%while nanjing is 100%;sweeting rate:Hong Kong and Macao is 84.6%while nanjing is 100%; palpation,Hong Kong and Macao is 36.5%while nanjing is 54.5%.All these above have statistical significance(P<0.01)⑥menstruous situation analysis:nanjing while Hong Kong and Macao,which has significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1) the study show that the gennianxinfang in treating with this disease and regulate the sexual hormone level are very effective,and also increase the level of E2 in serum while decrease the level of FSH,LH.The clinical total effective rate is 100%.and clinical improvement rate is 99%.(2)The investigation show that the two groups of patients have differences in age of onset,physiology,psychology,social and clinical syndrome.The inquire investigations show that the etiology of menopausal syndrome is closely related with physiology,psychology,sociology,eating habits and other factors.
