Background:Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one kind of functional intestine disease accompanied with the character of bellyache or discomfort accompanied and a change of defecation habit and property. IBS patient encounters long-time medical cure with continuous symptom or recrudesce, resulting in iterative therapy and a defection in daily life. There is no determinate morphological change or bio-chemical abnormity on IBS.The pathogeny of IBS is not clear so far. Generally, pneuma, accommodation, dynamical barrier of stomach and intestine, maladjustment of intestine bacterium and strengthening of intestine sensitivity are some reasons considered to be related with IBS. Helicobacter Pylori (HP) is a kind of Spiral-shaped Gram-negative pathogens, which can be planted and harms the inside of stomach mucous membrane. There is no significant evidence of HP being one reason for IBS. So the research focused on this problem and discussed the relationship of IBS clinic behavior and HP infection. Objective:This research is looking for the relationship between IBS clinic behavior and HP infection.Methods:1. Randomly pick 373 samples from The First Affilited Hospital of Nanchang University , from March 2007 to March 2009: Male 184, female 189, average age at 46.3 years. All the cases are Patients with Gastroduodenal Diseases with gastroscopy and HP inspection. 2. Approach: A,use 14C,13C - urea breath test and rapid urease test (RUT) to detect Helicobacter pylori, B,use The ROME III standard for IBS diagnosis, Gastro-intestinal symptoms use The colonoscopy inspection. C,PPI + Livzon Weisanlian for 7days for eradication of H.pylori, use 14C,13C - urea breath test to Review HP negative mean Successful removal, D,IBS symptoms mitigation standards: abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distention disappeared, the stool irregularities convalescent to normal.3. Group:â‘ Experimental sample: HP positive 267;â‘¡comparison sample: HP negative 106,â‘¢Treatment sample: HP Eradication 18, Uneradication 7.4. IBS diagnosis: ROME III standard with normal The colonoscopy inspection 133. Experimental sample: IBS with constipation: IBS-C 36;IBS with diarrhea, IBS-D 41; Mixed IBS, IBS-M 18; Unsubtyped IBS, IBS-U 10. Comparison sample: IBS with constipation: IBS-C 8; IBS with diarrhea, IBS-D 11;Mixed IBS, IBS-M 6; Unsubtyped IBS, IBS-U 3. 5. Statistical analysis:The incidence of the disease is calculated by IBS sample group and IBS comparison group, respectively. Analysis of differences in remission rate whether or not for eradication of H.pylori.Results:1. The incidence of IBS experimental group and comparison group HP 267 positive sample with 105 diagnosis IBS patients, incidence of disease 39.3%, HP 106 negative sample with 28 diagnosis IBS patients, incidence of disease 26.4%; IBS cases in experimental group is significantly higher that comparison group. (P<0.05)2. HP infection and IBS modeling2.1 HP 41 IBS-C patients with positive HP, the incidence is 39.1%; HP 11 IBS-C patients with negative HP, the incidence is 39.2%. The incidences difference: (P>0.05)2.2 HP 36 IBS-D patients with positive HP, the incidence is 34.3%; HP 8 IBS-C patients with positive HP, the incidence is 28.5%. The incidences difference: (P>0.05)2.3 HP 18 IBS-M patients with positive HP, the incidence is 17.2%; HP 6 IBS-C patients with negative HP, the incidence is 21.4%. The incidences difference: (P>0.05)2.4 HP 10 IBS-U patients with positive HP, the incidence is 9.4%; HP 3 IBS-C patients with negative HP, the incidence is 10.9%. The incidences difference: (P>0.05)3. The effect about eradication of H.pylorieradication of H.pylori 18, IBS symptoms improved 14, the incidence is 77.8%; Uneradication of H.pylori 7, IBS symptoms improved 3, the incidence is 42.8%; The incidences difference : (P>0.05)Conclusions:1. HP infection and IBS incidence relative.2. HP infection and IBS-C, IBS-D, IBS-M, IBS-U irrelative.3. HP positive and HP negative group were Mainly in IBS-C, IBS-D.4. Eradication of HP will improve the symptoms of IBS.
