Psoralea is one of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicines included by the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. Its seeds are known for their tonic, antibiotic effect and antiviral effect and so on. As one of the traditional Chinese clinical herbs, Psoralea corylifolia L. has a relatively high medicinal value. In this paper, depending on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, we adopted an integrative mode of researching the processing of traditional Chinese medicine,the theory of drug property,the chemical composition,the pharmacological action and the finger print. We have researched the effective place where the Psoralea stir-fried with salt works, and analyzed the finger print of the place. This is part of the scientific evidences for setting up Quality Control System of decoction pieces of the Psoralea stir-fried with salt。According to the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2005 Edition), Respectively Psoralea and Psoralea stir-fried with salt were determined. At the same time, in accordance with the People's Republic of China, Psoralea conducted on water-soluble extract and ethanol-soluble extract of determination, the same to the Psoralea stir-fried with salt. Tentative Psoralea Health Commodities minimum content of water-soluble extract of 15%, ethanol-soluble extract of the minimum content of 20%; Psoralea stir-fried with salt Health Commodities minimum content of water-soluble extract of 15%, ethanol-soluble extract of the minimum content of 25%. Conditions about finger print: chromatographic column: Krosmosil C18(4.6mm×200mm,5μm); mobile phase: methanol: water(82:18); detective wavelength:254nm;flow rate:1.0ml/min; column temperature: room temperature; injection volume: 10μl. Psoralen and isopsoralen contained in the main components of Psoraleae and Psoralea stir-fried with salt a determination Psoraleae Health products and salt products contain and isopsoralen respectively of the total amount of 1.448 percent and 1.524 percent, more than Pharmacopoeia shall not be less than the 0.7 percent on a stable and reliable quality of medicines.Experiment to determine the Psoralea and the Psoralea stir-fried with salt petroleum ether extracts fingerprint GC conditions. chromatogram instrument: GC7900 high-performance gas chromatogram instrument; chromatographic column: OV-101 (0.6mm×2m,80-100 number); Sample the mouth temperature: 250℃; Monitor temperature: 250℃; Furnace temperature using temperature-programmed: onset temperature 30℃,1℃/min go up 40℃, 7℃/min go up 250℃, to maintain constant temperature15min; flow rate:5.0ml/min; injection volume: 1μl.Comparison of Psoralen and the Psoralea stir-fried with salt fingerprint products. Found that the figure contained in the relative retention time peaks are basically the same. However, in the peak area and peak height there is a certain difference.
