Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Hui ci on spastic paralysis after stroke.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group with Hui ci and Xingnaokaiqiao(XNKQ)therapy and the control group only treated with XNKQ therapy.30 cases in each group.The Ashworth table, Fugl-Meyer evaluation and Barthels's ADL index were adopted as observation items.After tow months of treatment course,the improvements in muscular tension,motor function and activity of daily living were examined.Result:①Tow groups showed significant decreases in muscular tension after treatment(P<0.01),and that the improvement in the treatment group is superior to that of the control group(P<0.01).②The Fugl-Meyer scores in two groups were raised significantly after treatment(P<0.01),and that the improvement in the treatment group is superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).According Fugl-Meyer value and upper limbs function index,motor function of the 60 patients were improved,and that the improvement in the treatment group is superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).The lower limbs function index of the two groups were improved after treatment(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).③The BI scores in two groups increased prominently after treatment(P<0.01),and that the improvement in the treatment group is superior to that of the control group.Conclusion:Hui ci can release significantly the spastic degree of extremities for apoplectic patients.
