Objective:Evaluate objectively the clincical efficacy of treating apoplexy hemiplegia with the therapy of embedding wire in back shu points and acupuncture by RCT. The therapy of embedding wire in back shu points treatment group in comparison with acupuncture control group at the quality of clinical efficacy, and raise the optimize proprosal of acupuncture moxibustion. Explore the mechanism and the promotional value.Method:According to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria,60 stroke patients with apoplexy hemiplegia were selected and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with the therapy of embedding wire in back points and with acupuncture while the control group were treated by acupuncture. For both groups, the same points and the same method of operation were chosen in the acupuncture part, the therapy of embedding wire in back shu points treatment group alternate used the two sets of points. The treatment frequency of the acupuncture part of treatment group was five times a week, one time each day, after a rest for two days, the treatment continued and the totol treatment duration was four weeks, do the thread burial therapy can be used on lth,8th,15th,22th day after the subjects were subsumed treatment group. The frequcay of the control group was five times a week, after a rest for two days, the treatment continued and the total treatment duration was four weeks. Efficiacy evaluation was conducted after four weeks'treatment, the standard for scoring the degree of neurological deficit of stroke of stroke patientd, the brief Fugl-Meyer motor scale used as criterion as well as activities of daily living (Barthe index scale)。Results:After treatment, comparing the overall effects of the two groups by Ridit test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), including that the treatment group had better effect than control group. For patientd in both groups, their clinical neurological deficits,Fugl-Meyer motor function and activities of daily living had been significantly improved after treatment, compared with each other, by indepentment sample test, the difference was statistically signigicant(P<0.05);for patients in each group, comparing their clinical neurological deficits,Fugl-Meyer motor function and activities of daily living before and after the treatment, by paired test, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), indicating the treatment group had better effect than the control group. Conclusion:Both the therapy of embedding wire in back shu points and with acupuncture treatment group and treatment control group have remarkable effect in treating apoplexy hemiplegia patients. Both methods can improve symptoms of the degree of neurological deficits, enhance motor function and activities of daily living. After treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group and the treatment group had a more obvious improvement in neurological deficits, enhance motor function and activities of daily living. Comparing the two groups with each other, the difference was statistically significant.
