Objective: To appraisal the clinical value of the methods and the effect of the interventional treatment on diabetic foot.Methods:From April 2005 to December 2008, Fifty-six diabetic foot patients have got interventional treatment, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA) or stent, to observe the curative effects and complications of patients.Results: Forty-five patients were treated by PTA and eleven patients had had stent put into their arterials. Technical success ratio is 100%. Fifty-six diabetic foot patients all changed for the better. There were six patients with hematoma come out at the puncture point and there was no complication come out.Conclusion: Interventional treatment can quickly safely and effectively change the condition of the diabetic foot, and save it from amputation, then improve the quality of life.
