Diabetic foot is one of the most common chronic diabetic complications and one cause of morbidity and mortality of diabetes. Peripheral artery disease(PAD) and higher plantar pressure are risk factors of diabetic foot ulcer. It is estimated that 85% of amputation in the diabetic patients occurs in these with foot ulcer. This study aimed at that how to diagnose and how to do proper intervention as earlier as possible for the patients with diabetic foot. The study was divided into two parts, one was about PAD, the other planter pressure.PART One: We analyzed the risk factors of PAD based on diabetic complications survey, including age, gender, blood pressure, blood lipid levels, blood glucose, and the common diabetic complications assessment, such as retinopathy, albuminuria, neuropathy. In the meantime, we observed effect of Lipo PGE, in the diabetic patients with PAD. The conclusions are as following:1. It is easy and with low cost to check dorsalis pedis artery pulse and ankle-branchial index (ABI) for diagnosing peripheral artery disease in diabetic patients.2. The prevalence of PAD in diabetic patients is 20%~25% with checking dorsalis pedis artery pulse and ABI in the diabetic...
