On the basis of following Ming Dynasty system, the Imperial Academy of Medicine Medical system was regenerated. Disease prevention for a large number of the court people in various positions and the administration of medical treatment were effectively achieved through forming branch pharmacies, the leading role of Royal Drug Museum, the involvement of Imperial Academy of Medicine, and setting up the imperial palace coordination mechanism.In order to study the status and function of the Imperial Academy of Medicine Medical System, the essay researched into the main responsibility of Imperial Academy of Medicine, the polyclinics, the relative relationship of medical administrative subordination, the governors' promotion and demotion, and the medical education and test system. In particularly, the research of Royal Drug Museum demonstrated its important position in the medical activities both inside and outside the palace, which acquainted us with a more comprehensive understanding to Qing Dynasty's medical system.
