Clinical Study On Treating Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer With Run Fei Xiao Ji Capsule And Influence Of Serum VEGF

Objective:To check the group of Run Fei Xiao Ji Capsule cooperating chemotherapy(the combination therapy group) against the group of chemotherapy(the chemotherapy group) in the aspects of tumour impersonality effects,KPS,changing syndroms of TCM,the expression of serum vascular endothelial growth factor.To evaluate the clinical curative effect of Run Fei Xiao Ji Capsule in treating the non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:60 patients with non-small cell lung cancer who were cured in Heilongjiang Univercity of Chinese Medcine The 1st Hospital from 2006～1to 2007～9were divided randomly into two groups.In chemotherapy group:30 patients were cured by chemotherapy with vinorelbine and cisplatin(NP) alone.In combination therapy group: 30 patients were given with Run Fei Xiao Ji Capsule and chemotherapy.The histological classification,international TNM staging, ka's score and differentiation of symptoms,signs for classification of syndrome of TCM,score of TCM symptom,the expression of serum VEGF were done before the therapy.After the treatment tumor impersonality effects,KPS,score of TCM symptom,the expression of serum VEGF were recorded.Spss10.0 software was used to analyse the data.Results:(1)Comparison of catabatic and steady rate of both groups shows significant statistical difference(P＜0.05).The combination therapy group is better.(2)Comparison of the quality of life(QOL) of two groups shows significant statistical difference(P＜0.05).The combination therapy group is better.(3) Comparison of TCM syndromes of two groups shows significant statistical difference(P＜0.05).The combination therapy group is better in this aspect.(4) Comparison of serum VEGF before and after therapy shows statistical difference(P＜0.05)(5) Comparison of two groups' serum VEGF after therapy shows statistical difference(P＜0.05).The combination therapy group is better than the chemotherapy.Conclusion:In treating NSCLC,Run Fei Xiao Ji Capsule combined with chemotherapy has a significan efficancy in obtaining a higher tumor conrol rate,making QOL better,improving clinical sydromes,reducing the expression of serum VEGF in NSCLC.
