Clinical Study Of AO Tension Band Fixation And NiTi-Patella Concentrator On Treatment Of Patella Fractures

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of AO tension band fixation and NiTi- Patella Concentrator on treatment of patella fractures. To analyze their superiority and deficiency respectively in order to guide clinical application through contrast.Method: According to inclusion criteria, select 37 cases of patella fractures from affiliated hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of Shan Dong University. 16 cases of all patients were treated with NT-PC (A group), and others were performed with AO tension band (B group). To contrast and analyze two methods on time of operative procedure and union of fracture,function and ROM of knee joint.Result: (1),The excellent and good rates of the function of knee joints in group A and B was 93.67% and 85.71% respectively. The excellent and good rate of ROM in group A and B was 87.50% and 80.95% respectively.(2),There was significant difference on time of operative procedure between two groups(P<0.01), NiTi- Patella Concentrator was less than AO tension band fixation. (3),There was no significant difference on time of union of fracture,ROM and function of knee joints(P>0.05).Conclusion: Both different methods have the same satisfied efficiency in treatment of patella fracture. Each method has its own superiority in clinical operation concretely.
